Canon Interpretive Walk in Steenbok Nature Reserve

The Steenbok Island Nature Reserve is a joint initiative by Leisure Isle Residents Association and Knysna Municipality. They work closely with SANParks and with the support of The Friends of Steenbok Nature Reserve.

Getting there: take the N2 east from Knysna, turn right onto George Rex Drive, and then right onto the causeway to Leisure Isle. As you reach the end of the causeway you will stop at a stop street. Turn right into Links Drive.

The Reserve is open at all times and there is no entrance fee. It features the Canon Interpretive Walk which explains the ecosystem of the salt marshes, as well as the Indigenous Garden.
