The windswept Agulhas National Park is at the Southern tip of Africa.
Getting there: From Cape Town, take the N2, 100 km later turn at Caledon onto the R316. Pass through Napier, and from Bredasdorp head due south on the R319 to Struisbaai. Pass through Struisbaai, following the road along the coast to Agulhas.
Much of the fynbos is adapted to the limestone in the area, and it is here that you will see the strikingly gorgeous Limestone Protea.
The Cape Agulhas Lighthouse & Museum is definitely worth a visit, as is the monument at Cape Agulhas itself.
