Potjies

I really enjoy campfire cooking. I have a Cadac No 10 Flat Bottom pot, a Cadac Bread pot, and an old inherited potjie.

Be sure to season your pot before using it for the first time. I also normally smear a bit of sunflower oil on the inside of the pots after washing but before storing.

Be sure to get a wooden potjie lid handle to prevent burning yourself on hot pot lids. I also have a super cover for my Cadac No 10 Flat Bottom pot.
