Ebb and Flow Rest Camp

Wilderness

The Ebb & Flow Rest Camp is in the Wilderness Section of the Garden Route National Park along the banks of the Touw River mouth and the Serpentine, which is the winding strip of water joining Island Lake to the Touw River. The campsite is split into North and South. I camped at the Ebb & Flow North Rest Camp for the Merrell Eden Duo. We pitched our tent on the grassed banks of the Touw River.

From Cape Town, as you arrive in Wilderness on the N2, take the first and main (and only) exit into the village itself. Take the first right into George Road, and then right again into Waterside Road. Drive for 3km and upon crossing the bridge over the Touw River, the entrance is on your right.
