We long-time ago abandoned inflatable mattresses such as the Intex Queen Airbed as they inevitably puncture no matter how cautious you are.
A far better bet is a 3-section folding foam camping mattress. They are far more comfortable, do not need to be inflated and do not puncture.
The downside is size and this is only an option if you have plenty of packing space. We bought one at Agri a few years back. Below are the specs a 3 Divisional Camping Mattress from takealot.com:
