Wrap-up September 2012

I am overjoyed that Spring is here and that the hours of day-light are slowly growing longer.

Trail Running

I attended the launch of The Trail Runner’s Guide by Jacques Marais at Rustenburg Wine Estate. It was not particularly well attended which was a shame as Jacques presented an inspiring slide-show, and gave the small audience some humorous insights into his job behind the lens.

Hiking

I finally had the opportunity to visit Arniston. It’s an amazingly beautiful part of our country. We strolled around Kassiesbaai, and visited the fish traps and Waenhuiskrans Cave. We also played tourist at the Agulhas National Park.

MTB

I took part in this year’s Karoo to Coast MTB Challenge. Epic.

Whilst in Knysna we visited the Dalene Matthee Memorial.
