Taking my conscience for a walk

I recently read in the Tatler about two ladies who have set out to hike the Peninsula in aid of charity. Their ‘expedition’ is called Mountains of Hope and it is in aid of The Door of Hope Charity, which rescues abandoned, abused and orphaned babies.

Rachel and Charlotte will be hiking the route in sections with their babies, Rosemary and Anna respectively. To help them in their effort to raise funds, you can make a donation of R25 (or more…) to join them on one of their walks. It’s quite scary to think that the price of one drink in Camps Bay can provide formula for a child for three days!

I will be sure to post again once I have joined them for part of their journey.
