I have a multitude of running packs and belts, mainly for hydration. But often I am off on a short road run and I just need a few essentials, and not all of my running shorts have pockets. Enter the CAPESTORM Stash Pack!

I live in CAPESTORM Tech Shorts: I have a black pair and a khaki pair and have used them for hiking, trail running, rock climbing and swimming! Sometimes it is more comfortable to hike in longs, so I opted for a pair of CAPESTORM Men’s Tech Longs.
I normally hike in a technical type running shirt, but as I get sunburned relatively quickly I thought it wise to get this collared Men’s Congo Short Sleeve from CAPESTORM.

My friends and even my colleagues are used to seeing me in CAPESTORM gear on a daily basis: a Manta Ray or Puffadder paired with my Tech Shorts must seem to them to be my uniform, and I have often joked that I am the unofficial poster boy for CAPESTORM.
I bravely ran the 2012 Red Hill Marathon the weekend after Totalsports Terra Firma, and came apart after the Red Hill climb and descent! At that stage my theory was that if I was to be doing IronMan, running a quick marathon should be a regular occurrence. Clearly lack of recovery got the better of me! The sections along the coast are stunningly beautiful as well as very runnable — the slightly boring Cape Point-direction out-and-back leg and the challenging Red Hill adding some teeth to the course.
The material and the liner feel even lighter and more comfortable than that of the Kinetic if that is even possible! In the Hi-Tec Otter African Trail Run 2010 only the hem of my shorts got wet at the Bloukrans crossing. At this years race I was chest deep, so the A3 shorts got a good swim, and unlike the Kinetic shorts which chaffed a fair amount, there was no chaffing at all from the A3’s, and they remained extremely comfortable, and dried rapidly.
