Getting there: Meet Rachel at the Smitswinkel parking area at 08h30 for a hike in the scenic Smitswinkel Bay
Cost: R25 per person. Funds raised will be dontated to Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust and will be used to buy airtime for their 24-hour crisis line and to prepare care packs for rape survivors.
Route type: A gentle walk, on a clear path, down a partially tree lined slope to an idyllic small bay with safe beach and paddling areas. Suitable for a family walk with children.
Approximate distance: 3 km
Approximate walking time: 1hr Return
Remember: Bring swimwear, towel and picnic. All taking part will need to have personal outdoor clothing suitable for the conditions on the day. Walking boots for the path are recommended. A daypack will be suitable to carry your kit and food.
