I have yet to walk in Orange Kloof. You need to apply for a permit to walk in this protected area, and that process has just changed.
From the MCSA newsletter: “Table Mountain National Park have notified us that due to administrative constraints from now on permits for Orange Kloof will only be issued on application by telephone (not email) to their Mount Pleasant office on 021 6894441, at least two weeks in advance. Permits can then be collected at their office between 08h00 and 15h30 Monday to Friday, or faxed or emailed to you by Beulah or Tina upon request.”
