The Namaqualand Flower Trail Run is a weekend adventure of note! I went up for the 2010 race and had a blast. It’s a tough race through beautiful terrain. The weekend is festive with everyone staying over in the small town, giving you a chance to kick back and enjoy the company of your fellow trail runners.
Getting there: drive about 500km up the N7 until you reach Garies.
Where: Roodebergskloof Hiking Trail & the highest peak in Northern Cape 1704m, 17 km from Garies
