first Ascent All Weather Cycle Bootie

The went on a MTB outing in the Garcia State Forest during winter: there was loads of ice-cold water flowing everywhere, and my feet got soaked, and freezing cold. The next outing was the Karoo to Coast, and the weather forecast was suggesting that there might be rain. As there was no chance I was spending that length of time with cold toes, I went off to get some first Ascent All Weather Cycle Bootie shoe covers.

Fortunately the weather turned out to be superb, and the booties were not needed. I have since worn them once in miserable, rainy weather and they definitely go a long way to making me more comfortable on the bike.

The long zip up the side makes it fairly easy to put the covers on, and the bottom has cut-outs to accommodate cleats and the heel of your shoe.
