With the Cape Town winter drawing near, I am expecting to get caught out in bad visibility on my training rides. The Cateye Red Rear Light attaches to my road bike with the supplied bracket, or clips neatly onto both the Topeak Aero Wedge Saddle bags I have for my MTB and road bike.
The unit has three LEDs, and takes two AAA batteries, clipping easily into a bracket around your seat-post, one of the seat stays, or onto a compatible saddle bag, like the Topeak range that I use. The switch allows you to choose between constant and flashing modes. I use it in conjunction with my Rydon Centauri 1000 headlight for high visibility on the road during pre-dawn road sessions.
It is water-resistant.
