Garmin ANT Agent update version 2.3.3.0

Garmin ANT+ USB stick

I have the Garmin ANT Agent in the start-up of my PC and laptop. I have noticed a number of issues that although not critical, are quite annoying. Let’s hope this software upgrade tidies up these small glitches! [...]

Specialized Trivent Expert Shoes

Specialized Trivent Expert

I bought a pair of porno white Specialized Trivent Expert Shoes for road cycling on my Scott Addict R3 road bike. They are specifically designed for fast transitions in triathlon, and feature a large loop at the back to help pull them on, two velcro straps — the main one being specially large to easily fasten on the go, and no tongue to avoid it getting in the way when inserting your foot. They also have a clever little loop on the outside of the shoe above the arch which allows you to attach the shoe to the bike with an elastic band, which means you have your shoes already on your bike waiting in transition, and they will not hit the floor as you run out with your bike at the start of the leg. 2XU Men’s Comp Tri Singlet

2XU Men's Competition Tri Singlet

“The French” will no doubt tell you I always wear a red top. So it will come as no surprise to her that my brand new 2XU Men’s Comp Tri Singlet is indeed red.

I am not sure there is any particular reason for my liking red tops, but I guess I kinda like the [...]

Speedo Rift Pro Swimming Goggles

Speedo Rrift Pro Mask

I read some advice in a triathlon magazine recommending: spend some time trying out different goggles before race day, find a pair that works, buy a second pair of those goggles, and set them aside for race day after wearing them only once or twice in training. Makes sense! I have been swimming with an old pair of Speedo swim goggle for quite some time now. They are not up to the task anymore, so I started looking around for a pair that would be up to the serious task of a 3.8km open-water swim. Candidate No 1: the Speedo Rift Pro Swimming Goggles… [...]

Thule Freeway 968 Cycle Carrier

Thule Freeway 968

The Thule Freeway 968 can carry 3 bikes. The rack fits on the back of most cars, regardless of whether the car is a hatchback or sedan. This has the added advantage of your being able to use the rack on other vehicles should you require it, unlike roof-racks which are normally model specific and not interchangeable. [...]

I bought this small, aerodynamically pleasing Topeak Aero Wedge Pack Micro Saddle Bag for my Scott Addict R3 roadbike. It is the perfect size for a road tube, and essential tools for roadies. [...]

Scott Addict R3 Full-carbon Road Bike

Scott Addict R3

When I set out on my journey a few years ago to regain my fitness, my hope was that I would one day be able to take part in triathlons again, despite my surgeon telling me I would never take part in sport competitively again. So far so good, and so I set out to remove the final obstacle in my path: no road-bike. I settled on this Scott Addict R3 full carbon road-bike. [...]

Profile Design T3+ Aerobar

Profile Design T3+ Aerobar

As part of the process to pim my Scott Addict R3 for triathlon, I had a set of Profile Design T3+ Aerobars fitted by Kent Horner as part of my first-class bike-fitting at Westlake Cycle Lab. [...]

Orca S3 Fullsleeve Mens Wetsuit

Orca S3 Wetsuit

Just getting into one of these should be an Olympic sport on its own! The suite is really close-fitting, and the neoprene is only 2mm in some of the panels, making a tearing it a concern. Fortunately once you and the suit are wet, getting out of it after the swim is way easier. [...]
