According to Hendrico Burger, Route Designer, this will be the first time in the history of the ProNutro AfricanX Trailrun that a stage features so much single trails. “Stage Two will be a stage for real runners. In addition to the copious amount of single trails, runners will also need to contend with tough terrain that features a lot of loose surfaces, ups and downs and very little level running. As spoilt as we are, living with Table Mountain on our doorstep, it is unsafe to venture on the mountain alone, and many trail runners (especially the ladies) are prevented from enjoying the endless kilometers of world-class trail on offer. Fortunately the trail running community has grown in leaps and bounds in the last few years.
