Slight changes to the route have been made and a new route for 2014 has been confirmed. This exciting route will be 105km long with 1577 m of climbing, taking cyclists from Knysna to Sedgefield to Karatara to Barrington and back to Knysna.

I finally participated in my first #moonlightmass. A few colleagues and I met in Green Point to join in this relaxed cruise through the streets of Cape Town.

I would not be the least bit surprised if the annual Knysna Oyster Festival were renamed to the Knysna Sporting Festival. The Garden Route is home to a number of event organisers who have made it their stated goal to put the area on the map as the adventure sport centre of South Africa. Not only have they succeeded in doing so, but some of the events are now aircraft carrier size blips on the radar of the international sporting community!
