After running quite happily in New Balance road shoes for the past few years, a new updated pair of xxx had me feeling decidedly uncomfortable, and I discovered that the medial post (part of the sole) xxx had been made with a new, harder material. This led me to a frantic search for a new pair of road shoes, which ended happily with a pair of Asics Men’s Gel Nimbus 15 road shoes.
Unfortunately this happened in the build up to IronMan 2014.
I finally made a visit to the Sweat Shop where they recommended I run in a pair of motion control shoes and then a pair of neutral shoes of the same brand. The difference is marked and I recommend you try it.
It is always a bonus when the shoes come out in sensible colours (not white or other pale colours which are filthy after the first kilometer), and then a double-thumbs-up if the colours are actually attractive!
